Co-Founder and President
Stan graduated from Central Connecticut State University in 1982 with degrees in Computer Science and Business Administration. He began his successful 33-year career in Healthcare Information Technology as a Programmer/Analyst, eventually retiring as Chief Information Officer from a major North Texas hospital system in 2015. He was most proud of his involvement in transforming healthcare systems from back-office financial tools into real-time, clinical systems that made patient care safer. He often jokes that his current cell phone has more power than the entire computer room from his first job.
Stan’s passion for healthcare technology is now surpassed only by his passion for helping others at Paws for Reflection Ranch. His experience growing up with a sister with Down Syndrome gave him a deep heart for individuals with special needs. At the ranch, his focus is on business strategy, marketing, fundraising, and website management, in addition to animal care and ranch maintenance. He thought he retired, but he stays busy and fulfilled.

With a strong focus on Therapeutic Riding and other Equine Assisted Services (EAS), he understands the unique needs of these programs and the people behind them. A former volunteer with a passion for helping others, Jonathan brings real-world experience and a personal touch to the insurance needs for those in the EAS industry —making sure clients feel supported, protected, and understood.
He has seen how PAWS for Reflection Ranch is especially qualified to bring a deeper and more meaningful experience and therapeutic results using the horse as a tool compared to other standard services.
