We offer a variety of inclusive programs designed to inspire, educate, and bring joy, from special events for families with special needs to enriching field trips and scouting programs. Please contact us to learn more about these programs and how you can get involved in our Mission!
At Paws for Reflection our mission is centered on enhancing the quality of life for all individuals, with a special focus on those with special needs and their families. We host a variety of community events specifically designed to be welcoming and accommodating, providing a safe space where families can relax, connect with one another, and enjoy experiences that might otherwise be challenging. Through these gatherings, we foster a sense of belonging and support, offering therapeutic animal interactions and activities that create joy and lasting memories for everyone involved.
Paws for Reflection Ranch offers a unique and enriching field trip experience for students of all abilities, providing an opportunity to connect with a diverse array of animals in a safe, educational, and inclusive environment. Our field trips are designed to go beyond a typical animal encounter, allowing students to interact with horses, pigs, goats, rabbits, chinchillas, and a ferret. Through these guided interactions, students can learn about animal care, behavior, and the powerful bond between humans and animals. Our ranch provides a tranquil and accessible setting where every student, regardless of their needs, can discover, learn, and create lasting memories.
Paws for Reflection Ranch is an ideal partner for the next generation of leaders, offering a unique setting for scouting programs that foster service, leadership, and a deep appreciation for the world around us. We welcome both Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, providing a variety of opportunities to earn merit badges related to animal care, horsemanship, and nature. Beyond badge requirements, the ranch offers a meaningful space for more impactful service projects, including the opportunity for scouts to plan, organize, and execute their own Eagle Scout or Gold Award projects. These projects, which can range from building new animal enclosures to creating new trails, allow scouts to make a lasting contribution to our mission while developing essential leadership skills and fulfilling the highest requirements of their respective programs.
The heartbeat of Paws for Reflection Ranch is our dedicated team of volunteers. It's only through their tireless efforts and unwavering passion that we are able to fulfill our mission of providing a peaceful and healing environment for those in need. From caring for our animals and maintaining the ranch grounds to assisting with special events and administrative tasks, volunteers are essential to every aspect of our operations. Their commitment allows us to keep our programs accessible and our costs low, ensuring that we can continue to offer a sanctuary for healing and hope to the many individuals and families who visit us. We are deeply grateful for their support, as it is their hands and hearts that make our work possible every single day. We invite you to join our community and lend your time and talents to our cause.
We love our visitors, so feel free to call and schedule a tour during normal business hours.
